Virginia gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli hopes to revive Virginia’s sodomy ban, the recently struck-down “crimes against nature statute” that makes oral and anal sex a felony, in the hopes of using it to prosecute child predators. How would such a law affect the hosts of The View? Probably not that much. None of the hosts lives in Virginia, and Cuccinelli has said the unconstitutional law cannot be used to prosecute consenting adults acting in private. (However, his professed views on the topic of homesexual acts give pause.) But we’re really glad Sherri Shepherd and Joy Behar spoke out, anyway.
