Another day, another mesmerizing Kylie Jenner beauty tutorial.
This time, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 18, is showing fans how to achieve what she calls “everyday Hollywood” hair, a.k.a. perfectly tousled waves, in a new tutorial shared on her website Friday.
On hand to work his magic was one of the Kardashian/Jenner clan’s go-to hair stylists, Clyde Haygood.

Haygood starts “from scratch” with Jenner’s hair, which she has allowed to air-dry naturally. He separates it into a sleek side part and brushes through it thoroughly.
Haygood then wraps the hair in sections around a hair wand to heat the strand, leaving the ends out but holding them close to the wand. Haygood recommends using a wand, but says a curling iron works too as long as you don’t use the clamp on the ends, which pinches the hair.
With each curl, Haygood loosely clips it to the head, which he says it the most important part of the process because “it’s what sets the curl.”
Haygood repeats in sections around the entire head, working in layers to build volume.
Not sure how to tame your flyaways? Haygood’s tip is to use a small toothbrush coated in gel to groom them into place. (Or, of course, you could retouch them in pictures later, à la Kim Kardashian West).
Once the whole head of hair has been curled and pinned up, Haygood uses a blow-dryer on a cool setting to help set the waves. He also spritzed hairspray (he used L’Oreal Elnett Satin) within the pinned curls to reinforce them.
Finally, Haygood released the pins, brushed through the hair and finished off with a touch of grooming cream (you can also use wax) to smooth things through.

Jenner’s newest hair tutorial is just the latest in her series of beauty how-to’s. The reality star, who has established herself as the ultimate glam princess, regularly spills her beauty secrets on her website — from her must-have beauty products to how to rock crimped hair to the secret behind her amazing cleavage, she’s an open book.
On Thursday, Jenner also shared a video on her website revealing seven of her best beauty tips, which includes some basic ones like washing your face and taking off your makeup every night, teeth whitening (she goes to her dentist, but recommends Crest whitening strips) and of course, plenty of rest, water and vitamins.

Jenner also raved about laser hair removal, which she called “life-changing,” and touted the importance of sunscreen and nail maintenance, of course, “because you can always tell a woman’s age by her hands.”
