The headline above was the exact subject of an email one editor sent to another. Amid all the Grammys excitement, we forgot to talk about one killer Taylor Swift style moment. And since she didn’t take home the gramophone for Album of the Year, we’ve decided to write an open love letter to this amazing Zuhair Murad mini. You know, to make her feel better.
Dear Taylor,
Sorry it took us so long to write. We’ve been preoccupied with award season coverage, but have some really strong feelings we’ve been meaning to share with you. The black Zuhair Murad dress with it’s beaded detailing, sheer sleeves and flirty flounce hemline (which you wore to Clive Davis’s pre-Grammy party) is everything. (And so is that spray tan.)
To be honest, we printed out this photo to hang in our cubicles, and we’re already fighting over who will choose this look as their favorite style moment of the year.
Just one quick question, while we have you: Who did your hair that night? The loose, slightly crimped side sweep you have going on is the perfect balance of sexy and undone, and really shows off those Lorraine Schwartz danglers.
