We are well-documented fans of hot guys in tuxes at the Oscars. We have had less time, however, to formulate an opinion on the night’s most on-trend hot guy accessory: mountain-man-inspired facial hair.
First up, Argo director Ben Affleck, whose salt-and-pepper scruff has been a red carpet staple for the actor throughout awards season.
More surprising was Affleck’s pal (and Argo producer) George Clooney, who squired a stunning Stacy Keibler while wearing a voluminous and well-groomed beard that complemented his flippy do.
And finally, Jennifer Aniston‘s fiancé Justin Theroux left his hipster leather jackets and motorcycle boots behind, wearing a suave tux instead — but he kept his signature well-groomed facial hair.
