Halle Bailey is ready for the holiday season. The "Little Mermaid" star is making the rounds at various festive events, dressed in some of the most prominent trends of the moment. On Monday, Nov. 14, she made an appearance at the De Beers dinner in New York City, cheering on her sister Chloe as she performed select songs for the intimate crowd. Of course, Bailey, 22, dressed impeccably for the occasion.
The Victoria's Secret PINK ambassador chose a stunning black gown to wear to the event. The dress features a one-shoulder neckline, a floor-sweeping hem, and a sultry side slit. But it's the unique cutout along the bodice that really brought the drama. The open-front panel is covered in rosettes and extends from her neckline down to her hip. Bailey wore her long locs off her face to keep the spotlight on the dress, and added some sparkle with a pair of dangling De Beers earrings.
The De Beers dinner was held to celebrate Lupita Nyong'o's appointment as De Beers's first global brand ambassador, as well as her new "Where It Begins" campaign for the brand. The "Black Panther II" star looked chic in a simple plunging black dress uplifted by diamond drop earrings and a diamond choker. Chloe also kept the all-black color palette going, performing in a black trench coat with a front slit and holographic sheen.
