Not everyone feels like chatting all the time, especially when it's for an hour (or three) in the salon chair.
That's why a salon in Cardiff, U.K. has debuted the "quiet chair," a special spot where you sit, your stylist cuts and not a word is spoken between the two of you.
"We understand people lead busy lives where they may have been communicating with people all day and want some relief," salon owner Scott Miller told a local news outlet. “A trip to the hair salon is supposed to be relaxing ... not everybody is comfortable with small talk.”
We'll just silently visualize our next 'do, thank you very much.
