She wasn’t on our list of predicted hair changes, but we’re not complaining: just mere minutes into the Oscars red carpet, Giuliana Rancic debuted a brand new (and very chic!) short ‘do.
The E! host got rid of her long, Kardashian-esque extensions and instead wore a more natural look, wearing a fine, above-the-shoulder bob.
“This morning I don’t know what came over me, but I thought ‘I wanna chop my hair off,’” Rancic said on E!‘s Oscars pre-show. “What better day than Oscar day to chop your hair off?”
And not only do we approve of Rancic’s simpler style, her co-host does, too. “This is the extensionless Guiliana,” Ryan Seacrest (who, in his voluminous pompadour, looked like he might be rocking some of Rancic’s old extensions himself). “I like the new you.”
So should we be worried that Rancic’s over-the-top personality will be toned down tonight, along with her hair? From what we’ve seen so far, we highly doubt it. Tell us: Do you like Rancic’s short hair?
