Before there was Linda, Cindy, or Naomi, there was Bettina. Born Simone Micheline Bodin, the French model turned fashion muse inspired everyone from Givenchy to Dior, as well as posed for iconic photographers like Henri Cartier-Bresson, Jean-Philippe Charbonnier, Irving Penn, and Henry Clarke. Today marks the opening of Bettina at Galleria Carla Sozzani in Milan, a collection of over 100 images spanning the model's career on view through November 2.
