In a bid to hold on to the audience drawn in by surprise hit catechism trivia show The American Bible Challenge, Game Show Network is considering a church-based dating show, the New York Times reports. It Takes a Church, as it is tentatively titled, will “ask congregations, pastors, friends and family to find a suitable potential mate for a parishioner who is single.” You know, like how “the ladies of the church are always trying to fix up the few single,” as GSN executive Amy Introcaso-Davis put it. But then who will be left to go on The Bachelor?
