Each year, as the earth does it's thing. It twirls itself like a prima ballerina and changes seasons on us. Just when we get the hang of our summer wardrobe, BAM! It's time to change it up again.
It's always those transitional weeks that has us standing in front of our closets for those crucial extra minutes in the morning wondering what to adorn our bodies in. It's so tricky. The weather is getting cooler but not cool enough to throw on fur and leather. It's still sunny but not sunny enough to pull off the full on careless summer regalia. We are excited about fall, but not yet ready to give up our summer.
So what do we do?! The trick is to fallify your summer wardrobe. How? Take your favorite printed summer dresses, throw on a perfectly crisp white oxford shirt (popped collar optional), a structured vest and a pair of masculine oxfords. Piling on the white works so well because it's such a strong color for all seasons. Et voila! You are ready to take on the semi-chilly-but-still-sunny world looking edgified as ever!
