The March 12 ceremony, which is taking place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, marks Hollywood's final delivery of award season style - that is, until the Vanity Fair party later in the evening. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, it's important to note that the 95th annual Academy Awards have already sparked criticism, as many Black actors and directors were snubbed, with only Angela Bassett and Brian Tyree Henry receiving nominations for their roles in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" and "Causeway," respectively. Women directors were also completely shut out of the best director category.
