After a year as a blonde, Emma Stone has returned to red. The actress had lightened up to shoot Spider-Man 2, but as soon as the movie wrapped, it was back to her go-to fiery shade!
If this color change sounds familiar, it’s because Stone pulled the same move after filming the first installment of Spider-Man two summers ago. Despite the fact that she’s a natural blonde (yes, really), the star seems to feel more comfortable as a redhead.

“Blondes do have more fun! But sometimes I look in the mirror and still feel like I’m wearing a wig,” Stone once told InStyle.
We’re pretty sure the actress could dye her hair any shade of the rainbow and still look adorable (and we have a feeling she’s fun regardless of her mane color). But we have to agree that red is the hue that suits her best. Maybe it’s because we first fell in love with her as a redhead (when she starred in Superbad and Easy A).
Don’t get too used to a redheaded Stone, though. Even if she doesn’t appear in Spider-Man 3 (tear), this is the year of actresses making major hair changes for roles. So perhaps we’ll see Stone return to her roots soon…or go brunette? Or get a pixie? But until her next strand switch-up, we’ll be enjoying Stone’s bold mane.
