Demi Lovato exuded confidence on the red carpet and the stage at the 2015 American Music Awards.
The singer performed "Confident" from her new album of the same name. She looked absolutely beautiful wearing a short, black ensemble with tights and thigh-high boots. She wore black gloves and a dark, red lip with her hair pined up for her Old Hollywood look.
Two backup singers accompanied the singer as she belted out the hit.
Unfortunately, as seen in this Vine below, it looks like a few people couldn't remember the words to Lovato's song:
The 23-year-old has had an incredible year so far, with the release of her album in 2015. Lovato proved her confidence by posing nude and makeup-free for a Vanity Fair photo shoot.
"What does it mean to be confident?" said Lovato to the magazine. "It means letting go, being authentic, saying I don’t give a fuck and this is who I am. I want to show the side of me that’s real, that’s liberated, that’s free. What if we do a photo shoot where it’s totally raw? Super sexy, but no makeup, no fancy lighting, no retouching and no clothing. Let’s do it here, let’s do it now."
Keep doing you, Demi!
