Ciara made her New Year's Eve fashion statement a little early this year. On Dec. 27, the singer and mother of three shared a video where she strutted through Disneyland in a silver plunge-neck dress with a dramatic leg slit. "Winning energy rolling in the New Year Babyyyyy! We turning up the stage and ya girls co-hosting @RockinEve at @DisneyLand," she captioned the Instagram post, teasing her upcoming gig as the cohost of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve from Disneyland.
As the Grammy-winning artist walked through the theme park in slow motion, the fabric's latex-like sheen offered an iridescent glow. The corset bodice featured a plunging neckline with underwire at the bust and ruched detailing down the center. She showed plenty of leg, thanks to the striking leg slit that began at her waistline and carried across the skirt. She styled the gown with strappy platform heels, a silver cuff on her bicep, and matching metallic Mickey Mouse ears.
The "Better Thangs" singer is known to go all out with slits and cutouts, but this elaborate look might be aligned with her hopes to level up in the new year. "Every year the mission is to keep leveling up," she told People in an interview teasing her sixth time hosting Dick Clark's New Year's special.
You can catch Ciara's chrome gown in action at the pre-taped event, set to air on ABC on Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. ET.
