Oh jeez, are you ready for some serious cuteness?
This precious treasure of news comes from the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Ohio. According to UPI, the facility introduced its newest residents − a 10-week-old cheetah cub, Emmet, and a 7-week-old puppy named Cullen − on Labor Day weekend.
And now, not only can you sneak a peek of these sweeties at the zoo, you can see them TOGETHER, IN THE SAME EXHIBIT!
That’s because Cullen is a companion particularly chosen by Emmet to help the cheetah combat his skittish disposition. After being born at The Wilds in Cumberland, Ohio, the cub was hand-reared for several weeks due to a case of pneumonia. This, combined with the naturally shy nature of cheetahs, made Emmet especially easy to spook.
To aid the cub in becoming comfortable in his new digs, the zoo let Emmet pick out a specially-trained puppy companion. Cullen was able to get the paws up from his new little, big cat buddy and is now residing with the cheetah in his exhibit.

Thanks to the confidence Cullen encourages within Emmet, the cheetah will be able to travel as an animal ambassador, working to save his species by making educational visits.
