Carey Mulligan Pulled Off a Tuxedo-Cape

Yesterday, Mrs. Daisy Buchanan ditched her finger-waves for a platinum updo at the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball held at the Rockefeller Center. The actress showed up in a luxe black suit with armholes and sleeves from Victoria Beckham’s fall 2013 collection paired with black T-strap heels. To steer attention away from the empty sleeves hanging limply by her bare arms, Mulligan amped up her look by following the official "no shirt under tux" rule and bared deep-V lapels that looked both edgy and somehow really comfortable.
