Camo Is Having a Comeback! See How Stars Are Wearing It (then Shop It Yourself)

Camouflage never officially goes out of fashion — like leopard and stripes, it’s practically a neutral — but this fall, the print is hotter than ever, popping up in unexpected ways on the bods of trendsetting stars including Bella Hadid, Zendaya and Ariana Grande. The pattern even appeared on the spring 2017 runways; designers including Marc Jacobs (featuring oversized camouflage jackets) and Lutz Huelle (with boots and bombers) sent the army print down the runway, proving the trend will be strong well into next year.

The trick to pulling off this tomboyish trend: wear it in moderation. Whether it be a backpack, bomber,  button-up or joggers, pick one piece to play up with the print. If it seems intimidating, start small or wear it as outerwear, so it doesn’t feel so “high commitment.”

Kris Jenner (right) shows there’s no age limit when it comes to rocking camo pieces. The 60-year-old KarJenner family matriarch is known to sport her beloved Saint Laurent camo jacket (get a similar one here!) when she’s running errands in Calabasas or filming episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

And both Grande and Zendaya love a good camo jacket too — the two stylish former Disney stars spice up their wardrobe with an oversized one from time to time.

First-time Victoria’s Secret model Hadid stepped up her black-on-black look with a pair of baggier camo pants that cinched right at the ankle to show off her strappy sandals.

Gabrielle Union also opted for camo pants, but went for a dressier approach. The 44-year-old star gave the military print a glitzy twist with these high-waisted, sparkle detailed camo trousers with that cinched at the waist to show off her shape.

Even Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump embraces the camouflage style with his hunter green and orange “Make America Great Again” baseball cap, which he just sported during a recent campaign rally.

Convinced? Add one of these pieces in the print to your wardrobe so you’ll be right on trend this fall.
