Just when we thought we’ve seen the most jaw-dropping gowns on the red carpet, Bella Hadid arrived in a dress so risqué we can’t look away.
The model, 20, arrived at the amfAR gala on Thursday at the Cannes Film Festival in a bustier-style top and high-waisted briefs worn under a see-through, crystal-embellished one-shoulder gown by Ralph & Russo. The designer label, created by London-based duo Michael Russo and Tamara Ralph, describes the look as “custom nude illusion tulle gown with draped pleating and high split leg, elaborately hand embroidered with crystals, glass beads and silver chain.”
“We dress confident, empowered women,” says Russo. Yeah, no kidding! It takes all sorts of confidence to pull this off. To complete the look, she styled her hair in a structural bun and paired the look with strappy sliver sandals.
Now, this is quite a moment because we thought Bella’s days at Cannes were over given that she was in Rome walking down the Spanish steps at a Bulgari event just last night.
Indeed, after a glamorous evening celebrating the new Bulgari perfume at the Goldea the Roman Night cocktail and dinner in Italy, the model headed back to the French Riviera for the gala — always one of the most highly-anticipated events of the entire festival schedule — all within less than 24 hours of each other.

All in all, she’s had a pretty good Cannes style run. She attended the opening ceremony in a pale pink, ultra-leggy strapless Alexandre Vauthier gown that gave off very strong Old Hollywood vibes.
Then, she opted for something a bit more demure in a quilted red silk satin Dior Haute Couture dress at the Okja premiere.
But she brought back the glitz in a sparkly Roberto Cavalli semi-sheer strapless gown at the Fashion for Relief Gala.
Though nothing was quite as jaw-dropping as her sheer embellished gown at amfAR, don’t you think? Of course, she saved her sexiest look for last.
