Gisele Bündchen is plenty active on Instagram and Twitter, but when it comes to one-on-one interviews, the supermodel is highly selective. So that's why it's especially fun to have a peek at a new chat she did with M2M, a fashion network from IMG that airs exclusively on Apple TV. M2M shared a preview of the conversation Tuesday on its Facebook page.
The reason for the interview was to promote her brand-new $700 coffee table book titled, appropriately, Gisele Bündchen, but Gisele spoke broadly about her career and, more specifically, about her start in the industry. When asked what she does, Gisele replied, "It's been a pretty fun ride the past 20 years. I got to take some pictures and meet pretty interesting people and travel the world - and just experience different things in life. That's what I do."
Gisele also reflected on her first-ever major fashion show. She recounted a story of how Alexander McQueen, casting his Spring 1998 show, took a chance on her, even though she wasn't part of the "heroin chic" wave of models who were trendy at the time. "I wasn't what they wanted," Gisele said of casting agents at that time. But then Alexander came along and changed everything.
