An occupational hazard of being a movie star is that you spend 90% of your life in a full face of makeup. In your downtime, it’s only natural to want to be totally fresh-faced. However, with paparazzi cameras lurking everywhere, we can see why stepping out of the house without a stitch of makeup may be unappealing.
That’s why we want to pay tribute to these three gorgeous stars (from left: Emma Stone, Leighton Meester and Drew Barrymore) who all went out this weekend more or less bare-faced — and looked amazing in the process.
It’s refreshing to see celebs showing off their assets without tons of product. We’re especially loving the peek at Stone’s freckles, Meester’s groomed brows and Barrymore’s big blue eyes.

Want to emulate the same low-key, lovely look, but you’re not quite ready to go completely bare? First, prep skin with a small amount of a brightening CC Cream (Clinique has a nice one) and target problem spots with a good concealer (Becca’s dissolves into the skin).
Next, curl eyelashes (Shisheido makes a classic curler) to open up your eyes, then swipe on a hydrating lip tint (we’re obsessed with Fresh’s Rosé Sugar) and dab a little onto cheeks if you’d like.
