When in Paris, go for the monochrome trend. That's the motto Anya Taylor-Joy abided by as she attended the Christian Dior Haute Couture Spring 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week on Monday, Jan. 23. "The Menu" star rocked a corseted top with a deep plunging neckline that finished just below the bust that she teamed with a high-waisted black midi skirt with sheer lace panel.
The actor, who is a Dior global ambassador, chose a design from the fashion house's Resort 2023 collection for the event, which was also attended by Maisie Williams, sporting a new spiky bang. The cropped cream waistcoat was adorned with intricate black embroidery that matched the cream wool and silk cropped jacket with black trimming and embroidery. The plunging neckline was further accentuated with a ribboned choker complete with chic pearls. She paired the top half with a black pleated midi skirt that included a sheer lace panel at the thighs with flat knee-high leather boots to finish.
Taylor-Joy's hair was left loose with a middle parting, as her makeup was kept minimal and super cool. Sporting smudged smokey eye makeup and a neutral lip, she threw on cream cat eye sunglasses for added glamour.
This latest look is the most recent in Taylor-Joy's style masterclass. She's had a run of knockout outfits including perspex heels, naked dresses, and sheer looks. And her recent beauty looks run the gamut from "rich girl" nails to barbie ponytails. The 26-year-old wrote on Instagram "love this family" when talking of her Dior partnership, so we can expect plenty more lust-worthy outfits in the near future.
