Over the past few years, Angelina Jolie has refined her signature style. Hair down. Lots of black. Tailored suits. High necklines. So we were surprised to see her pull out the sexy dress card at the WSJ. Magazine 2015 Innovator Awards Wednesday in N.Y.C.
No, she didn’t go full J.Lo and step out in a completely naked dress, but she did show more skin than usual. She also exposed her lower back tattoos for her big night out with husband Brad Pitt. See her look from all angles below.

The actress selected a black (okay, no surprise there) strapless Tom Ford column gown with a bow accent and corset-like sheer panel at the back. She completed the look with 30-carat rose-cut diamond drop earrings by Lorraine Schwartz and a simple bun which let the sparklers shine.

But her best accessory was definitely Brad, who looked dapper as ever in a sleek suit and skinny tie, with slicked hair.
The couple has been busy promoting their new film, By the Sea, which reunites the duo onscreen for the first time in 10 years. The movie, directed by Angelina, tells the story of a strained marriage between Vanessa (Angie), a former dancer, and her writer husband, Roland (Pitt).
