Amber Rose Channels Feminist Icons For Paper Magazine Shoot

Kim Kardashian can keep her champagne flutes because Amber Rose channeling suffragette Susan B. Anthony might be the best thing we've seen all year.

In the second installment of the Break the Internet issue, Paper Magazine decided to honor their readership with a collection of outrageous photo shoots entitled #Fandemonium, because this time "it was the fans who deserve the kudos."

Amber Rose was one of celebrities chosen to "make fans go nuts" for a photo shoot, in which she channeled some of the most iconic feminists in history, including Gloria Steinem, Susan B. Anthony, Dorothy Pitman Hughes and, of course, Rosie the Riveter.

Take a look below.

Rose organized "Slut Walk" in early October to speak out against slut-shaming and delivered an impassioned speech in which she stated, "[I've] decided to have this slut walk for women who have been through s**t."

The 32-year old mother of one attracted a considerable amount of media attention after her split with rapper Wiz Khalifa, an experience she credits with sparking her interest in feminism.

"I would look on [Wiz's] Instagram and he would have pictures of all these women all over him," she told Paper. "And then I would post a picture of me and my son. And people would be like, 'Does your son know that his mother's a whore?'"

"People are like, 'Wiz is out fucking mad bad bitches and you're at home crying over him because he's the best thing that fucking ever happened to you and now you're just a fat, bald-headed single mother and no one will ever love you,'" she continued. "So yeah, I guess months of seeing shit like that, I was just like, 'I can't live like this. There's something wrong.'"

Despite her negative experiences, Rose refuses to accept the ways society constructs womanhood as somehow inferior and hopes that women of all types will continue to unapologetically challenge patriarchy.

"I guess what I want with our generation is to have it not be that way," she said. "Like, all of us as women, let's just stick together and look out for each other. I was really glad that my Slut Walk was extremely diverse. There were all types of women from all walks of life there ... That would be the main thing for me ... really just try to take the racism out of feminism for our generation."
