How is Adele gearing up for her first U.S. concert in four years? By going shopping! The singer landed in N.Y.C. early (ahead of her highly anticipated Tuesday performance at Radio City Music Hall) and she’s been stepping out in style.

The 27-year-old star was seen leaving her hotel on Monday in a sleek black Burberry dress, featuring a cutout lace overlay and a cinched waist, which perfectly flattered her figure. She finished the look with sheer tights and coordinating pumps, plus the perfect blowout and her signature oversize shades.
On Sunday, Adele stopped by celeb-loved vintage store What Goes Around Comes Around in N.Y.C.’s Soho neighborhood (one of Amal Clooney’s favorite shopping haunts) where she bought two black (naturally) Moschino pieces including a coat and a skirt, a source tells PEOPLE.
Adele hit the shop with a couple of friends and shopped downstairs at the store’s private “Vault” shopping room where she “rummaged through special racks of vintage clothes.”
“They were having a blast going through everything,” the source adds. “She especially loved the vintage Moschino pieces.”

The star has also been changing her wardrobe up — on Friday, she skipped her usual dresses for a chic pair of culottes, a duster-style coat, boots and a hat. (We like Adele’s city style.)
Adele has been busy reintroducing herself to the world with her record-breaking new single “Hello,” the first track off her upcoming album 25.
“It’s very easy to give in to being famous. Because it’s charming. It’s powerful. It draws you in. Really, it’s harder work resisting it,” she told the UK’s Observer Music of retreating from the spotlight. “But after a while I just refused to accept a life that was not real.”
But the star’s return to the public eye comes at a time when she’s feeling secure in her own skin, in part thanks to a new healthy lifestyle.
Adele opened up about her fitness routine in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, explaining that while she doesn’t like working out, she hits the gym “to get in shape for myself, but not to be a size zero or anything like that.”

And if you’ve noticed Adele’s glow, that could be a result of cutting out cigarettes, sugar and alcohol.
She also shared that she owns her shape. “Would I show my body off if I was thinner? Probably not, because my body is mine. But sometimes I’m curious to know if I would have been as successful if I wasn’t plus-size. I think I remind everyone of themselves. Not saying everyone is my size, but it’s relatable because I’m not perfect, and I think a lot of people are portrayed as perfect, unreachable and untouchable.”
