For the awards, more than 40 very willing and able testers — from both PEOPLE and TODAY — tried hundreds of products, including makeup, skincare, haircare and more, with a quest to find the absolute best drugstore products of the year. And after weeks of wearing multiple foundations — simultaneously (!) — to work, swiping on dozens of mascaras in-between meetings and sleeping in not one but two eye creams, we’ve narrowed down the lot to 44 favorites.
