Queen Heads Back To Work

LONDON — Buckingham Palace officials say Queen Elizabeth II will resume her royal duties next week after a brief illness.

Officials said Friday the queen and her husband Prince Philip plan to attend a Westminster Abbey service Monday to mark Commonwealth Day with another event scheduled later in the week.

The 86-year-old monarch was hospitalized overnight on Sunday for treatment of gastroenteritis. It was her first hospitalization in a decade.

Miley Cyrus Rose McGowan stepped out Beverly Hills, Calif., rocking a dramatically different look as she headed into -- duh -- the hair salon Thursday. The actress dyed her hair platinum blond at the end of last year, and told E! News that her inspiration was that of another Hollywood blond bombshell: Sharon Stone. "I wanted to look like Michelle Pfeiffer in 'Scarface,'" she said.
