Nicki Minaj, meet Nicole. After toning down her usually dolled-up look for a dramatic makeunder on the cover of Elle, the 30-year-old rapper got to play dress-up for a funny video shoot for the magazine.
Minaj pretended to be ditzy super-fan reporter Nicole for Elle.com and interviewed herself. The excited 'journalist' told the "Starships" rapper, "I've been, like, dreaming of this . . . I'm such a huge fan," she gushes to herself.

"What do you wear at home?" Nicole asks. "All of my guy friends are always, like, obsessing over you and thinking that maybe you're, like, wearing lingerie and trying to look all sexy at home. What do you wear?"
"I like comfortable stuff, but sexy," Minaj tells Nicole. "Definitely like thongs. I love black thongs."
"Totally, totally, yeah," Nicole responds, nodding in agreement.

Showing off her multiple personalities in the video interview session may have been Minaj's reward for dialing back her over-the-top look for the cover shoot.
"When I saw myself with barely any makeup at, it was such a . . . like, I'm so, so attached to my pink lipstick, it's hard," she admitted. "I feel that it's become a part of me. To go in front of the camera, without pink lips or big ol' crazy lashes -- you know, nothing -- I felt naked. It was scary! So this photo shoot was a real accomplishment in my eyes."
