You may know model Iskra Lawrence from her flawless #AerieReal campaign pics or her fearless messages of empowerment on social media. Now she's taking on another role: history teacher.
Well, more or less. In a video for Self.com, shared exclusively with Us Weekly, Lawrence, 25, gives fans a little lesson in the evolution of swim style. She starts with the curve-accentuating high-waisted bottoms and halter tops of the 1950s before moving on to the boy shorts the '60s and the neon colors of the '80s.

Earlier this month, Lawrence used swimsuits to demonstrate another lesson: how easy it is for people to manipulate their social media photos. "Shocking it only took me about 10 minutes to photoshop myself to 'perfection,'" Lawrence captioned side-by-side bikini pics of herself unaltered and FaceTuned via Instagram. "I wanted to post the unretouched pic right next to the retouched one so you could see the impact of how a few edits all done on my phone can completely change the way someone looks."
