Lizzo debuted a string of impressive outfits at the 2023 Brit Awards in London, which took place at The O2 Arena on Feb. 11. The Grammy-winning star worked with stylist Patti Wilson on her looks, hitting the red carpet with boyfriend Myke Wright while wearing a gilded Robert Wun midi dress with ruching and a sculptural pleated ruffle trim that framed her entire figure. The 34-year-old musician sported a singular Golden Wisteria earring, courtesy of Anabela Chan for Miss Sohee, which was crafted from recycled aluminum, lab-grown diamonds, and sapphires. She finished the ensemble with strappy black Piferi sandals, Alexx Mayo employed a smoky eye with a golden shimmer, and Eri Ishizu provided a sharp gold manicure.
Later, the star transitioned into what was arguably the most iconic getup of the night: a custom pink Act N°1 dress that came equipped with an exaggerated, fluffy tulle collar that wrapped around her like a headboard. Lizzo performed "Special," "2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)," and "About Damn Time" in the design, eventually shedding the outermost layer of her floor-sweeping skirt to reveal more of her mesh corset, a slitted mini, and patent combat boots. Lizzo kept in the same Shelbeniece Swain-created hairstyle, a flipped bob with a side part; Mayo gave her ultraviolet eyes; and Ishizu achieved colorblock pink-and-white nails with a '60s vibe. Lizzo wore dangling earrings and a chunky cocktail ring for her moment on stage.
Finally, she and Wright celebrated the night at an afterparty at the Nomad Hotel, for which she changed into a silk leopard dress with an oversize bow and ground-trailing sash. Her shapely, oversize hoop earrings spoke to the supersize aesthetic, as did her towering platforms with buckles that climbed to the knee. Lizzo accessorized with a Mae Cassidy velvet cocktail bag decorated in pearls, and her red lip felt on point for going out.
