Jennifer Lopez Visits Ben Affleck on Set in a Pair of Towering Espadrilles

It's not unlike Jennifer Lopez to make a casual outing in a pair of platforms. While visiting fiancé Ben Affleck on the set of his new project in Santa Monica, CA, on June 22, the multi-hyphenate debuted a pair of her own JLO Jennifer Lopez sandals, which are part of her collection for DSW. The espadrilles are unlike many other wedges in that they're sliced into a towering 5-inch block heel stacked on a 2-inch platform, and they come equipped with an ankle-wrap closure for added drama. The Minel platform is available in nude, dark brown, and light blue and retails for only $70. Lopez demonstrated how to elevate the style by keeping it sleek and sophisticated in a black sleeveless cotton jumpsuit with tapered ankles, a simple charm bracelet, mirrored aviators, and her go-to hoop earrings for a day off.

Affleck, meanwhile, sported a graphic t-shirt, charcoal denim, and his Axel Arigato paneled sneakers, a classic combination for the 49-year-old actor, whose outfits are typically a neutral foundation for a Lopez-style moment. While Lopez owns numerous platforms, like the Gucci's white leather T-strap pumps, gold metallic bejeweled shoes, and silver glitter heels, it's nice to see her rocking her own product. She did the same for a shoot earlier in June, wearing one of her DSW styles with a black string ViX by Paula Hermanny bikini, and memorably, at the 2021 Met Gala with her Western-inspired Ralph Lauren gown.

Ahead, see her strut in her self-made espadrilles alongside Affleck, then scroll to check out the iconic outfits that were spotlighted in her new Netflix documentary "Halftime," which she celebrated in a sheer, mesh and velvet Tom Ford gown on the red carpet on June 8.
